Chihuahua Too!

Family Friendly Fare That Lacks Much Bite: This Ghost Story Has a Nice Message, But Not Many Laughs
Cute dogs, happy families, teamwork, loyalty and perseverance. What's not to love about the new low-budget DVD release "Chihuahua Too!" Yes, this family friendly endeavor has a positive message and that's commendable. That does not, however, automatically make it a necessary DVD purchase. Anytime you say something critical about a feature made for children, people go out of their way to condemn your opinion. "Lighten up, it's cute enough for kids." I patently refuse to give in to this ideology, though, because I want quality entertainment choices for my kids! I want to recognize the great efforts of those toiling to make smart, challenging, and truly memorable work for the younger generation and not just rubber stamp anything with the highest rating possible. That said, "Chihuahua Too!" is pleasant enough and the youngest kids will probably enjoy it. But trust me, it would have made a much better story with a shorter running time! At almost ninety minutes, this slight tales gets...

Cleanest fun you'll ever have!
This movie is packed with fun moments for the whole family. Whether you are a dog lover or not, you will fall in love with every character in this movie. Morgan Most did an incredible job Directing this, as well as co-Writing it with Elyssa Davalos. The Most fun I've had in a long time!

Chihuahua Too
Wonderfully entertaining Family Feature about my favorite breed. Except this time a celebrity ghost who can only be seen by the Family pet. Leading to hilarious situations.
Lots of truly engaging performances from all the actors. A must see for all the family !

Captains Close Up

Shatner Expands His Engaging Documentary Film Into A Five Part Interview Series
Actor William Shatner came up with an inspired idea in the documentary feature "The Captains." Adding a missing piece to the legacy of television's longest running space saga, the film united the six actors that have been featured as Captains in the show's various interpretations. Chris Pine from the current movies appeared in the full length film, but is not a notable part of the documentary series "The Captains Close Up." This five part series that appeared on the EPIX network (yeah, I don't know what that is either) is basically an expansion of the film. Each of the five episodes deals specifically with one of the TV captains. The interviews deal, obviously, with the Star Trek experience but also with their travails as actors in general. And Shatner steps forward both as subject and interviewer using footage he captured for the movie version.

The five included episodes are each approximately 30 minutes in length for a total program content of about 2 1/2 hours. In...

A Spin Off of Shatner's The Captain's Documentary
This is 99% new content and not a rehash of Shatner's wonderful 2012 documentary entitled The Captains The format is 30 minute segments on the 5 Captains; Shatner; Stewart, Mulgrew, Brooks and Bakula (New Captain Kirk, Chris Pine is seen in the Shatner half hour) so we get 2.5 hours of every Captain!

In addition it's not just Shatner in the half hour segments. They are beautifully woven together to tell a story from a 360 degree viewpoint augmented by other actors from the series as well as production team members from the series. This is a very comprehensive and thoroughly enjoyable production for any fan of the Star Trek series.

William Shatner has pulled off a coup yet again!

If you already have Star Trek Captains this is still worth it
This is actually an update and more in-depth version of an earlier documentary done by William Shatner and it does a good job of adding on to the previous stories of the actors that have sat in the center chair. A must for any Star Trek fan. Highly recommended.
