Video has a good moral message at the ending, although it is intentionally a bit slow at first. It teaches us to get outside of ourselves to show kindness to others. I will use it in prison ministry.
The single best video I know of for leading adults to the true meaning of "the church"
This movie is taken from the true story by Tony Campolo about a night he stopped into a diner that turned into a life-changing incident for many of those who were present that night. If you do a web search on Tony Campolo and/or The Agnes Story, you will find interviews and speeches of him retelling the story of Agnes, the prostitute who had never had a birthday party or birthday cake, who happened to walk into the same diner where Tony was having coffee at 3:00 am.
This film has outstanding production values and was a winner of numerous film festival awards. I have shown it to many friends at retreats and in our home bible studies and just to friends hanging out, whether they are believers or not. It resonates with all.
This short film will cause you to rethink the teachings of Christ in a new light... one that will have you seeking opportunities in everyday life, outside the walls of a church building, to spread God's love to those who have never felt it...
